Privacy notice

Veranna, LLC (“Veranna,” “we”) provides this website and Veranna Benefits. This notice describes information used to operate those services. It does not replace your employer’s or health plan’s privacy notices or the agreements governing its enrollment program.

Information we handle

Website and inquiries. When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send. This public website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.

Administrator sign-in. When you choose Google or Microsoft, we receive basic identity information, such as your name, email address when supplied, and account identifiers. We use it to authenticate you and associate your account with separately approved access. This sign-in integration does not request access to your mailbox, calendar or files. We maintain session and access records to operate and protect the service.

Enrollment. For enrollment programs enabled by a participating organization, information may include employee and dependent names, contact details, dates of birth, employment and eligibility information, benefit elections, payroll contribution information, signatures, and identifiers such as Social Security numbers when required for enrollment forms. Information may be provided by you, your employer or its authorized benefits administrators. What is required depends on the program and its forms.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide the requested service, authenticate users, administer enrollment, communicate about the service, provide support, and maintain security and operational records.

Enrollment information is available to authorized representatives of the participating organization and its benefits administrators according to their access permissions. It is also used to prepare carrier and payroll outputs. Who receives those outputs depends on the organization’s enrollment arrangements.

Service providers help operate the service, including hosting, authentication and enabled transactional communications. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to address fraud, misuse or security threats. We do not sell or rent enrollment information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This public website does not include analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels or cookies set by Veranna. The enrollment application uses cookies needed for sign-in and session security. Our hosting and sign-in providers handle technical information under their own applicable privacy notices.

Retention and requests

Retention depends on the information’s purpose, applicable organizational agreements, and legal or records obligations. Enrollment and signed records may need to be retained even after an individual stops using the service. We do not promise immediate deletion of records that must be retained.

For corrections or requests concerning your enrollment record, contact your employer or benefits administrator. For questions or requests about Veranna’s handling of information, email austin@veranna.com. We may need to verify the request and coordinate with the organization responsible for the record. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. Do not send Social Security numbers or medical details in an ordinary email.

Changes to this notice

We will post changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required.
